calcium chloride?

Is there different purities to calcium chloride? I bought this for my pond and was wondering if I could use it instead of buying the expensive bottles labeled for reefs. i would ask Randy in the chemistry forum here about it. calcium chloride is the main part for his 2 part. and there is a difference with them. it may be a good idea to use that to make his 2 part to ensure a good ionic balance with the calc and alk of your tank. im not the house chemist thou . as Randy
