calcium reactor help please

Ok I took the reactor apart cleaned everything and found my brand new ph probe to be the culprit it will not stay calibrated so it looks like i will be replacing my pH probe. This explains everything thats wrong with the reactor so i will be fine. This is the first time I have had a new ph probe be faulty, I used to be a hydrologic technician for the USGS so i have done my fair share of titrations, and pH readings and we would replace pH probes all the time.. Thanks for the help everyone.

If I were you I would hire someone to atleast take a look at it before you think of purchasing another reactor or even harming you rcorals.

Once you get the hang of it all you need to do is calibrate the probe every few months and that's it. The probe should be changed after about 6 months.

No need problem has been solved pH probe was replaced and we are now up and running! I have a 6.6 reactor pH and a nice steady effluent flow. Thanks for all the help

I soak my probes in white vinegar after 6 months for a few hours. Probes have been lasting at least a year and longer. One is still going strong at 20 months.
