Can I add my bathyphilus trio to my 125?

I have a beautiful trio of bathyphilus wrasses (hooded fairy wrasse) that I've had for ~ 1 month. I'm thinking off adding them to my 125 FOWLR (moderate amount of live rock).

The current inhabitants of the 125 are:
1 large pink margin fairy
1 medium solarensis
1 filamented flasher
2 flame wrasses (1 male)
1 condei wrasse
1 laboutei
2 red firefish
1 Vrolik's wrasse

What do people think of this idea? I would hate it if something happened to them, but I think they would happier in a larger tank.

thanks.

You have three fairy wrasses which can be somewhat aggressive. It is not a clear call whether the C. bathyphilus trio will be accepted.

thanks Steve. Would you try?

If I do it, I'll use an acclimation box and rearrange the rockwork? Anything else you would do?

BTW, which 3 fairies do you think are aggressive?

I can't speak for Steve, but the conde and the solarensis can be quite aggressive towards others.
My conde wrasse is the worst one in my tank in regards to aggressiveness.

Interestingly, my condei is completely benign (added later). My solarensis and my filamented are the ones that bully.

What do you think about adding the bathyphilus trio?

Personally, I prefer the C. bathyphilus to C. solorensis which is the one I think will be the show stopper. But again, it is a roll of the dice.

I say do it. I have one coming to me this week. I haven't had one for over a year and finally got my chance to get one and it will be here by the end of the week.:celeb1:

I'm not much of a wrasse expert, but... just a couple questions.

What are they in now? QT or just another tank? If they are in another tank why do you want to move them? Just cause? And if there would be problems and you have another tank, why not just take the aggressor out so you can keep the trio in the bigger tank. I'm thinking the trio would require a bigger tank than a single wrasse.

I bit the bullet and added my bathyphilus trio to my 125 FOWLR wrasse tank. Thankfully they haven't had any problems at all in terms of being bullied even by a somewhat aggressive Condei wrasse.

I'm glad to hear they are doing well. Mine is happy with his new home also.
