can i buy a USA or german unit and use it australia

look like there a few bagins on here just wondering if i can use a american unit in australia, i presume the computer is 100v-240v can i use adapters on the power bar or just buy a new power bar here in aus?

Hi

You would only need the fly lead from the Dc adapter to the AC power outlet, but that is not the issue, as you would require Austalian digital power bars, and although we can get them, not only would you have along wait but as there is a distrinutor in Australia GHL probably would not be too happy us asking a retailer here to supply you with them, couple that with the cost of shipping and taxes, you really are better off buying locally.

nah mate i dont want new i was wondering can i buy 2nd hand from this site and then buy an aus powerboard and away i go
