Can someone reccomend a timer.

I need to get a timer for my new lights. My old timer must not have enough "oomph" to fire my new 250 watt ballasts.

I know alot of people on here have controllers but if you don't. What do you use?

I used these before I got my controller. Now I use one for the fans and the other for the nano to control lights. So far, they've been worked flawlessly for over 2 years and counting.

If I recall, I bought mine from Walmart but I think Lowe's and HD sells them also.

Cool, I'll have to look into those ones. Icecap recommended their timer but it's like $45 a piece and they recommend one per ballast. For a little more money I just as well buy and AC junior, and control them with that!

I use the heavy duty grounded timers from Menards. They are white with green and red pegs to set on off.

They are sometimes called "appliance timers"

Yep, those appliance timers work great. You can get them anywhere.

For a little more money I just as well buy and AC junior, and control them with that!
