Cannons 210g build

Here's the new dilemma. The canopy is too heavy to open so I went to the DIY forum and a few people had some great advice for me. This is what I'm gonna try to duplicate.

Looking good :)

Did you put in some vents to get rid of the heat from the radions? I presume the amount of heat is limited but might still cause issues on a hot summer day?

Make it happen man. Canopy work is flawless.

Can't take credit for the canopy, I had a real good friend put it together for me. He did a fantastic job too. Can't wait to get it stained. Trying to think of some creative ways to mount 5 radions.

Great tanks. That's the same one I'm using as my main display. Came across your thread today and am amazed how close we built things. My stand too is 40 inches off the ground. Makes for fun cleaning but sure looks good.

My wife cleans my tank. :)

Do you have a build thread?

Huskers? Seriously? They still let them play huh, go MICHIGAN!!!

I'm waiting on the shocks to come in right now. Should be a few days. I might start working on the radion rails tomorrow and the prep work for the stain.

Once I get the hardware planned ill paint the inside. Should have some new pics uploaded either tomorrow or Sunday.

So this project just got put into overdrive....

This morning I was cleaning the glass on the 90g and the stand began ever so slightly swaying from side to side....so....after I wiped my *** I put an accelerated plan of action together so hopefully I can get it torn down and replaced in a few days.

That's the 90 behind the monster I'm shipping out Monday....there's a skimmer I sold too. ;)

Here's the update as promised. Thanks to some good friends and a great wife we managed to get everything done. Jennie ( the wife ) finished staining the stand, then setup a holding tank for all the coral...then actually took the coral out of the display, caught the fish, and had everything all ready so when I got home...we just had to move the heavy stuff.

I like the T. rex shirt the kid is wearing and want one for myself!

Kidding aside, I like the build thread so far. Nice wood working!

Nice your wife is involved! Looking forward to completion! Interesting stand on the frag system, what do you keep in all the little compartments?

Frag system? Not yet..if you're referring to the yellowish pic that was the 90g we tore down to make room for the 200. It was actually the top of a desk we converted, it had a 30 g sump underneath. I post a pic for reference later.

As for the tank all the corals are in, it's a 40 breeder she put ALL our coral in until I get the 200 plumbed.

So we spent the last 3 days getting it up and running.
The wife finished the canopy,
I did the plumbing with my son Fox,
then I built a light rack from square channel and L channel.
Got the water warmed and circulating,
Installed the canopy
Insert fishes and coral. WHEWW, LONG WEEKEND!!!
