Cant make my GBTA happy

Sorry, I was wrong. ViaAqua makes OceanPure, not Aqua Medic.

Your anemone doesn't look too bad to me. It is most likely moving around trying to find a place to attach its foot. His foot looks pretty big. See if you can help him find a large crevice that he can put his foot deep inside while still having his tentacles exposed.

While it was in the store it was about twice as big as that picture with nice bubble tentacles and way darker, which is why I'm worried. In fact, that was the only time it got that big since I've had it. I fed it some mysis yesterday and again this morning so I'm prolly gonna wait a couple days to feed it again. Is it possible to over feed it? How much mysis would you guys reccomend if I feed it 2-3 times a week.

Not sure that's enough light for one thing, and that size tank is hard to keep stable for nem.
I would also eliminate the fluval/ceramic, guesing nitrates may be high.
Size of a nem does not determine health, in fact when my light was weak my nems looked bigger, as they were reaching for light.
Overall, it doesn't look bad, maybe give it time and feed silversides cut in pieces.

I think I'm about to trash it. It's lookin pretty bad today. It's shriveled up pretty bad, the tentacles are tiny, mouth is gaping and it's pretty unresponsive. I moved the rock it's on to get a better look at it and it didn't do much of anything when I brushed it.

It couldn't hang on to that rock so it's in a plastic container now.

It's not as unresponsive as I thought. I'm gonna see if it will eat in a few minutes. Nitrates and Nitrites are at 0 btw.

anemone's do that, my RBTA just went through a faze...it was shrunk up for almost 2 weeks...previously it had just split which I think put some stress on it....now it is back to full size and doing well...it's not time to trash a BTA until it starts to dissolve

I knew it's not time to trash it untill it starts dissolve, but I was worried that it had started since it's never happened to me before. I'm gonna look for some dissolving anemone pictures so I know when to pull the plug.

I think it may be the lights. I have the identical fixture, and my BTA isn't very happy either. He always hiding under rocks and only occasionally makes an appearance.

It doesn't make much sense though, I have some SPS doing great (monti dig. and caps.), but the nem. isn't happy.
