Carpet and power head fight!!

I would keep an eye on him. If he deflates frequently, starts to look, darker or if his mouth starts to stay open pull him out and start the antibiotic therapy in sticky. If not, the DT with good flow is a good place for him to heal.

Time for power head covers.

What can I do to help him? Take him out of the tank? Or let him be? His edge is cut/scrapped/chewed by my new Hydor power head. He is usally at the other end of the tank, this morning all the way across the tank up at the top with edge in the power head!!

OK I don't have a carpet nem but I've lots of BTA and what you describe is normal for a BTA.
When they get into a mobile phase they generally go down stream, which means to a power head intake.
You need to diffuse the intake stream and cover all intakes with a very fine filter (like sand). Create an alternate downstream current with an aerator. The nem will likely settle in the bubble stream.

Thanks for the info... He is huge almost a foot in diameter he never moves. I changed the position of the flow, he has reattached his foot in his normal place in the tank. He are a silverside this morning. My saddlebacks are swimming around him and he seems happy. I'm trying to find something to cover the PH with, ASAP!

You might want to stop feeding silversides. There are plenty posts here of nems dying shortly after being fed contaminated silversides. Look into frozen seafood medley at Publix or Albertsons.

I've had nems go down after being fed frozen shrimp. I avoid all sea food. I use only food that does not come from the sea like frozen brine and Mysis shrimp, frozen blood worms, and live brine shrimp, tubifex worms and black worms. The last three are devoured by anemone.

i will try to feed them brime but i do not know where to find the other onetubiflex worms. please let me know where i can buy them. thank you
