I have a problem. I have a big beautiful green carpet anemone that I would like to pass on to someone else. I have too much traffic in my tank to keep him. Does someone want him. I can ship him in the styrofoam container he came in. I'm asking 15 bucks + shipping (Overnight).

Nice avatar gastone. :D

Thanks Chris.

Actually I got the idea to post a picture of my Shar-Pei as my avatar from you.

So, thank you.

Garrett.

Sorry to hijack this thread Lonestar :p

Good luck with that Keith. I think the most important advice I can give you is look for a breeder that breeds for longevity and health. Here is a listing of some... http://cspca.com/bcocsigners.htm

Also, ask the breeder if any of their lines have FSF or amyloidosis. FSF is common, so it's most likely present, but amyloisdosis lines should not be bred, if they are...RUN. Don't be swayed just because they're meat mouths, or have a ton of wrinkles.

If you would like anymore good links to pei info let me know.

:D

I love the look of the Bordeauxs. However they have a incredibly short lifespan, even for a giant breed. 5-6 years is typical and anything north of 8 is unheard of. My other baby is an English Mastiff. Just a pup still, he'll be 1 on 2/1/06. He's about 120# now and the thought of him being between 180-200 another year from now is scary. Sweet as can be though.

Good luck with your search.

Garrett.

Hey guys, was that a mastiff in Harry Potter, and what kind, that boy was gorgeous?

Great pei Garrett, I love the fawns with a black mask, that's how my girl is.

Oh, and Marina and Lonestar, you may want to unsubscribe from this thread. ;)

Chris,

I only saw the original... and it was about five years ago. I believe Fang is a Neopolitan Mastiff, but I don't want to commit to that.

How many Peis do you have?

Garrett.

yes fang was a mastiff and my parents male is the only one of his blood line in the USA.

His father was the only pure champion to be flown out of holland and into vancouver island. the lady showed us the court documents from the country sueing her to give the dog back and canadian judge said that he will not uphold it as they should have been more cautious.

the dogs father was the european champ i forget the name of the show/league thats more prestegious than akc or anything else.

the lady had the male and he had 3 puppies his first litter my dad got the pick which is the male he has now ill have to get pictures up.

my dad had his first litter a week ago and he has monsters already.

That's so cool Keith, you'll have to post pics.

Garrett, I only have two. I had to put my black brushcoat to sleep (due to kidney failure) last September.
