carpet anemone??

i went to the LFS today and they have a carpet anemone for sale that is only $12 which is crazy? WHY SO CHEAP IT IS VERY HEALTHY and HUGEE!!! it is around the size of my two hands ( i am a girl ) haha and pink with tan tentacles..... i know i have a 14 gallon , but they have had it in the pet store living for 1 month under one flourecent bulb and it is doing beautiful...... any chance i would be able to keep it alive in my tank/??

this is going to sound weird.. bu t i dont think it was an anemone .... are there carpet corals? because it didnt have a foot. well that i coud see
