from what I can see that anemone can heal up if given good environmental conditions. If it were going to kill fishes with a release it would have already done so.

That thing is/was beautiful. I think it will recover if given good conditions. Keep up the water changes. Running some carbon won't hurt if you aren't already. If it does release anything, the carbon should absorb it.

That damage does not look too bad. It should recover if other conditions are proper and it does not get infected.

the anemone is being healed in a dedicated system. I wouldn't run carbon and I wouldn't do water changes. Stability at proper water parameters is key for the next couple of weeks and after a few weeks pass small feedings should be initiated.

Don´t feed in about two week or so, and keep very good water conditions. If it was well established in your tank before, I thin it is going to recover again:fun4:

I suggested carbon because it looks like it is not in a dedicated system. Is that xenia on the right hand side of the picture? I figured the pvc was holding up a frag rack.

Is the anemone in a dedicated system, or in a frag tank?

I have had my Haddoni go through worse then that and make a full recovery. If you have any shrimp in the tank I would keep a very close eye on them. That was one issue I had when bringing mine back.

thanks to all. Its by itself in the same tank, same system, that tanks tied to my reef. Seems to be recovering well. Although it wouldnt foot for a while, i added a dsb and some rock and it has now taken foot, of course backwards so i cant see it. I just fed it and it ate well. I fead it right before i read your guys posts or i wouldnt have. Why no food?
