carpet ?

Can a 46 bow house a carpet anemone and RBTA? There is someone in my local club that wants to giveaway a green carpet and was wondering if there would be a problem putting it in w/ my rbtas. thanks for any comments in advance

I don't see why not.

Toddrtrex has both in a very nice setup (http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1191034) and it looks to be no larger then 30-50g (I am not good as judging size via photos).

The tank layout and size of the Anemones would make all the difference in the world IMO. Given the stats on your profile, I don't see why you would have any problems with lighting. Since you already have a RBTA, I am going to assume your tank is Anemone safe.

Carpet Anemones are harder to care for, but that was not the questions.

Actually my that tank is a 75.

But, would be nice to know what type of "carpet" you are talking about.

Mixing anemones can work for years, but there is always a chance of problems. I had a large Hadoni kill a large H. Crispa.

Well im still in the hunt for by blue carpet and wna ttot be certian that its ok for carpets and rbta to co-exist in the same tank. Just want to be sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But, I will comment to this one. I do have a blue carpet ( haddoni ) in my 75 with a BTA. They have been together for 6 months or so.

The yellow/tan haddoni and the BTA have been in the same tank for a couple of years now.
