Caulerpa verticillata

I just bought Caulerpa Verticillata. I just wanted to know if that will be good to help lower nitrates and good for my purple tang for grazing.

I'm goin to post a pic of it, because I'm not even sure of what kind it is, but it does resemble veticillata.

My eyes is waterin' But a couple of isolated blobs do resemble Caulerpa verticella. I haven't seen that in a really long time. When I had some, it was beautiful, but quite delicate.
