CB Scribbled updates?

Thread Ender
Do you own one? If so, how's it getting along so far? Happy, healthy? Alive? I think a cb Chaetodontoplus duboulayi) is phenomenal!

Don't have one but will(pair). They are truly beautiful and more importantly affordable angel. There was a thread in FOWLR about them. One perished and two or three other were doing well I believe

Scribbleds are by far my favorite angel. I would be comfortable working with these little ones.

I love the orange face (maze) but they are a little $$. Also love the conspicuous, but again you get up above the 1k price point for a single fish...

Right now, I'm interested in the Bellus & Genicanthus Semifaciatus, multibar angels ... I placed an order for a pair of multibar's through DFS & no dice - even though they were in stock at the time ... It would have been nice to know where I was in the pecking order so I didn't wait around for 2 weeks ... but oh well ...

My buddy and I got three multibars from QM and two have paired up, or at least aren't killing each other. They have been together for 4 weeks now. The third Multibar met the same demise as my Bellus when ammonia spiked in QT. She was one of my favorite fish

Anyone have a recent update if your cb scribbled is still alive? Pics?

I too would love know updates. Seems like people haven't had as much success with the tiny CB scribbleds. I'm thinking about making the plunge but worry about survival rates and others not so great luck

Here is mine, living in the QT.

That's a beautiful fish - how big is it & how long have you had it?

I was looking for updates on the tiny captive bred ones mostly. They seem to be selling right after they're offered or close.

How are they doing? Any updates?

I've had mine since October 15th. According to Kevin at LADD, she was one from the first batch, so she was well established by the time a got her. She is feisty... bosses larger fish around, and attacks huge pieces of food. She is still in QT, going through a round of cupramine.

She's growing fast! Already has a slight yellow patch on her back, and has developed the "scribbled" markings all over her body. Tough to photograph, but I'll try this weekend.

I can vouch that they grow very fast. In 1.5 month it grew like an 1". The colors in my eyes they seem a little dull than the wild caught. Maybe the cb develop a little slow.

Maybe yours is still too young in coloration? Mine is brilliantly colored, to be honest. I am surprised, myself!

Here are some pics from today:
