Cerith eggs everywhere!

My cerith snails are laying eggs absolutely everywhere, so much so that it's making it hard to clean the glass because I feel bad scraping over them. Will this activity settle down eventually? I really don't need anymore snails

lol...I just had the very same thing happen a few nights ago. Don't worry...most of the eggs will end up as a yumy fish or coral snack.

i also have the same prob. will any of the eggs live to maturity though? or what can i do to halp them grow better?

I suppose if you wanted them to live, you could scrape them off and put them somewhere safe, say a fuge/sump area.......

I do occasionally notice 2 or 3 teeny tiny snails on the glass here and there, so I guess some do make it, but certainly not the same as the amount of eggs produced.

it must be in the lunar cycle. mine just made another made grafitti markings over my tank in the office. Nice gue for my patients to look at!

I say scrape them off and let them feed your corals.
