Chads 300gal Envisions

Steve- I like to show appreciation to those who are willing to go above and beyond to help their customers and stand behind their products. Some seem to think after the money exchange the transaction is done. I believe this is the point where you seperate the good from the bad ;)

Brought my stand home tonight..not real happy w/ the paint job. I'll take pics when I get things moving along. I need to get some plywood and paint/seal it w/ something.

I'll hopefully get some more pics this weekend when I have more time to work on it. Plus the room the tank is in looks like a tornado hit it right now w/ everything everywhere trying to make room for everything.

Thanks FFrankie and Boozeman- Just got tracking info on my plumbing parts and they will be here next Mon. so it looks like I will shoot to make the switch the following Fri. or Sat.

got all the plywood sealed today w/ kilz #2 and placed on the stand. I took some pics but the camera battery has gone dead so I need to go pick up another one tomorrow.

Hopefully everything gets here the first of the week so I can plan on switching end of the week/weekend. Saturday is out of the question. We have baseball parctice and pictures for both kids as well as my wife has a baby shower to go to. I think this is going to be a long day in transition so I would to set aside a whole day to do this. Just not sure when that is going to fit into the upcoming schedule?

Pics of the stand tomorrow.

Hi E!! How have you been doing? Hope work is going well for you I know you were looking forward to being very busy this summer. Looking forward to your input :D .Aquarium Obsessed tank dimensions were 72x30x24T .
Chad

Nothing like being able to come home when you want. :) Im extremely busy now and sure enough even more in the summer. Tank is doing great. I have just enough time now to do a water change. :)

Great to hear things are going good w/ your business E :D . Just remember I am here and will need some advice w/ rock work :)

here is a pic after driving close to 10hrs to pick up the tank. What other addiction would a person drive 10hrs through rain snow and sleet (literally)?

Stand looks SOLID! I like how you added the supports for the plywood beneath your stand.

The plywood on top of the stand - is it the camera angle? It looks like it's warped.

did you make the stand yourself?

T-bone- I built the stand myself...2x2x3/16" tube.

You are correct the plywood is warped...no photoshoping :D we'll save that for later :)

Just a shelf to gather junk on. I may box in the back of the aquarium by extending it to the wall to cover some of the clutter. This will hopefully cover what you can see from the top.

I won't be able to put the tank up against the wall becouse of the overflow box.

I'm kind of thinking I will use magnets to attach the skin to the stand. Does anyone know where I could find magnets that may work?

Looking good Chad. Now let setup that bad boy so when Will from Aquarium Obsessed come by to fix the tank, it will be ready for him.
