Chances of survival for a XXL Ritteri at LFS
The light is an 18 watt full spectrum par 38. Can't imagine that'd be too strong? It seems to love it as it spreads out to get the most coverage when the light is on.
I moved the circ pump around, I'm not sure how big it is but it's pretty strong in that tiny tank. Looks like a 150-200gph aqueon. Also the filter on the tank is an Aquaclear 70 and is moving a lot of water.
Here's a couple pics this morning just after a full water change and lights have been out for 3-4 hours. Mouth has almost completely closed.

Holy crap it's HUGE
I would use the 30 and only put 10-20 gals in it. This will give your nem a lot more room.
Good idea, not sure why I didn't think of that. Lol
I have been watching the feed, looks like a SCORE.
I have a question, where is everyone getting their Cipro? Best place. I am building up my QT arsenal. I picked up 100grams of Chloroquine Phosphate and will probably pick up some sort of copper treatment. Any other suggestions and I am open to them.

I was in the same situation. A fish store her in Denver had this beautiful anemone. It started off with his mouth a little open. Had it about a week with no deflation and currently the mouth is closed. I picked up this little guy for 50 dollars. It is a bleach, however, has shown great improvement under my AI Hydra 52. I cannot wait to have this beautiful anemone get his color back. I am slowly going to try to feed it next week.

Happy to report that I just added Day 7 Cipro dose and the anemone looks great. Having watched the nightly (day cycle) recordings in fast forward, I haven't seen any deflation in two nights and the mouth has been either completely closed or open about the size of a dime.
Given the state over the past couple days I would say it is at a 0-1 on the rating scale. When the light is on it's tentacles take on a somewhat shorter and fatter look as it spreads out large and mouth tight. When the lights go out the tentacles get longer and skinnier and it folds in more. I don't believe these are signs of it being unhealthy but I am still planning to dose it tomorrow and friday morning which will be 9 treatments. If it continues to look good Saturday then I plan to move it to the display.

This will probably be my final update. I finished 10 days of treatment and moved the anemone to the display. So far it seems to be doing well. The mouth is staying mostly closed to barely open and I'm not seeing deflation. It is huge! I'm now waiting for my saddleback clown to stop hosting a tiny bubble tip and find his new home. I've attached a couple pics. I'm in the process of finishing scraping coralline on one side as it's such a chore I only scrape once a month, lol. It is a 360 gallon tank that is 4ft tall with the ritteri sitting at about 24-28" under 550 watts of rapidled DIY fixtures (4 x 36 led cree white/blue/violet). I am about to order lenses for the crees to help boost the PAR.

I agree. There is some risk but it looks to me like he is treatable. If you've got the Cipro and QT ready you could have a great addition. Everyone's risk appetite is different.
If you are going for a ritteri, I would always suggest buying locally rather than having it shipped.

I think you are a bit late. Finished the 10 day Cipro Sunday and moved him to the display.
