whoa (nice piece!)... and I can even keep acanth lords alive!

I'd love to add a few more to my tank (even if small)! Where can this Clint be found? :-)
 
If anyone from Windsor/north SR is making a trek over to Clint's, I'd love to hitch a ride (or even drive if you'll navigate); unfortunately, though, I'm on Mr. Mom duty Wed, Sat, and Sun (but would be willing to pay you back if you go on one of those days and wanted to "pick out somethin' nice for me" :-) ).

Would be fun to go though just to see them in real life!

Yep, Clint's the one to see. He's revamping his site right now....the new page should be up soon. His prices used to be much higher, but they've come down significantly. I still paid close to 4 billz for mine! His next order will be full of dendro's:D :D

Tom- There are several baby polyps around the edge of the colony, I will trim them off and will be offering them up for trade in the next week.

It might also be worthwhile to contact him reguarding some type of donation for the next raffle.

Whoa! Not to downplay the beauty of the pieces (or Clint's efforts), but unless you mean $20's (vs. $100's), aren't those prices comparable to what's on the internet already? Perhaps I need to retract my suggestion that someone pick out something nice for me (I'd be "all in" at the $80 price point, however!)? :-)

Either way, thanks again for bringing these to our attention... absolutely gorgeous!
 
Most online dealers are what I like to call "choppers". They don't usually sell whole colonies only chopped up frags....that are ridiculously priced!!! I saw one yesterday for $150 per polyp....and it didn't look nearly as good as mine. It's an expensive buy I know...but comparitively speaking....it's a steal!

Jake,

I have that same piece! $400 how many heads were on it? I have 7 colonies of acans that I had for a while now. I think out of the 7 that rainbow piece and a lime green piece are my Grade A. Where did that piece that you bought rank with the others he had. The reason for the high prices is the papers needed to get these exported out here. Nice grab!
 
Thanks for the clarification - again, I wasn't necessarily criticizing his prices... was just catching my breath after thinking there might be small colonies available for $100 rather than $400 :-)

$250 and $350 are the going rates of his acans. $350 for those large colonies is a great price. Some of the ones he had would go for around a grand at a lot of online shops and places like atlantis.

Acan are coming in more and more so soon the price will come down, one just have to be patience :D

Thats so true but then again once they stop exporting them, then prices go back up.

Actually this could be one of his last shipments of acans for awhile he said, so the prices could end up going up soon.
 
It could, but the prices on Acan are crazy right now ... I'll just stick to SPS for now :D havent had the terrible itch for Acan yet thanks God :D
 
Yeah, the prices are high but I'd never pay $80.00 per polyp even if they glowed in the dark! Then gain maybe I'd get one head if they really did glow in the dark =)
