id go put a cup of sugar in his gas tank then all the money for the tank he would spend to replace a motor and all fuel lines. if he isnt going to take the tank back and refund you, it's called fraud by deception and pending the price you paid for it can make it a felony.
 
I believe if i were the person doing the group buy on the piccoso clowns, ( Fishboy9227), i would count him out on his a grade A fish he ordered, and if he has already paid for it, put his money towards the new panel. This is just dispicable behavior whether it is done to another club member or a total stranger. I know i'm not a COMAS member any longer, but i think the COMAS officers should seriously consider revoking his membership and club rights if he is one, and ban him from future meetings and events, and remove him from the frag program if he refuses to make good on this. I also feel that the RC Moderators should ban him either from the forum all together, or at the very least revoke his right to ever sell on the forum again. I wouldn't go so far as putting sugar in his gas tank as that is just stooping to his level, and also a crime, but i would seriously consider filing charges on him, as what he did is as stated, fraud by deception, and is a felony. You have plenty of proof right here on this forum with pictures and his post to file and convict him easily, and he deserves to be convicted for this. What a &^%$^%$ JERK.
 
The fact that Justin is no where to be seen says it all. As we are all certain that he is viewing this post and not posting is disturbing. I agree that a full refund on the price of the actual tank is warranted. If I was in this position, I would be taking legal actions as well...of nothing else, small claims court.

I will donate frags.
 
Small claim will get you nothing but a judgement which is just a piece of paper and cost you even more money. A judgement isn't collectable unless it's big enough for a lawyer to collect it fot you, and he will take half of it for collecting. I have been that route on an appliance store that ripped a huge hole in my floor and got a judgement for $900. I still have the paper, and never saw a dime. When i called a lawyer and a collection service, i was told that they would charge me more to collect it then i was trying to collect, and i would have to pay them up front. I would file charges. Having a felony on your record is no joke. That would cost him far more then the tank, and the court would make him pay restitution that if he didn't pay would cause him yat another arrest and felony.
 
Wow, all I've ever heard about this guy is that he sucks non stop, guess it was true. I don't really see how you can crap on people you see on a regular basis, or anyone for that matter. Very sad. Didn't he have a tank shatter before, I thought he did. I might be mistaken.
 
Sadly, this is an unfortunate situation. As far as the club itself and its relationship with Justin, this can result in two outcomes. One is that the situation is resolved and the other is that the Justin does nothing. Should the latter occur there is a good chance that this will result in Justin's membership being revoked. Revoked membership has not happened in the history of COMAS. To all appearances this is a deliberate act to deceive another member for the purpose of personal gain. Actions like this cannot be tolerated by our group as a whole.

The Society reserves the right to revoke specific membership rights of any individual due to conduct considered detrimental to the Society, in essence the club by-laws allow for a vote by the leadership team for the permanent removal of any member who acts in a manner not consistent with the club. The integrity of COMAS is priority #1 for all of us.

Let this be the official notification that this action will officially take place should there not be a resolution to this issue. There have been many complaints in the past of nefarious dealings with this specific individual. While the possibility exists of a misunderstanding, the Leadership team will wait for a period of three days for this action to be corrected in a manner that is satisfactory to the complainants, if this is not corrected, the board will be forced to vote on the membership and all of the associated rights and privileges of the specific individual. This includes exclusion from all COMAS meetings and COMAS sponsored events.

Buying and selling inside the COMAS forum on Reef Central is not under the control of the club, it is expected that the members of the club itself have integrity and deal with others in a fair manner, with that said, it is our hope that this can be settled to the satisfaction to everyone involved that allow integrity to be maintained
 
Two hoots and a hooray for that post GregC. I knew that COMAS leadership would not stand for this kind of behavior in it's ranks. I applaud you all.

I've exchanged PM's with him many times about "differences" we had on him agreeing to sell things then selling them to someone else (this has happened multiple times).

I would hope that ReefCentral and COMAS can do there part to keep this kind of repeated bad behavior from happening to anyone else on RC.

Just my 2 cents

Steve, You too. I have had the same problem with him as well. In addition to that I have held several frags and lighting things for him that he would never come and get. Then I would lose the sale to someone else because he wouldnt follow through with his word. I thought I was the only one having this problem.
 
WOW what a JERK. I bet your mom and dad are so proud to have raised such an outstanding example of a man lmao. Someone must have spent 5 whole minutes in your life teaching you what it means to be a man. Can't even let your name show on the forum while you read all this lmao. Them are raisins you got not grapefruits. Have they even dropped yet?
 
Ok lets please stop the bashing, most of us are beyond that and its just not necessary in a public forum. Everyone knows where it stands lets just leave it at that.
 
All this pitching in and helping makes me wanna be there too. It sure would be a learning experience. Do you guys think you could document this if you swap the panel. I'm sure it would be a learning experience for a ton of RC members.
 
How much does a new AGA RR 150 cost? with all the support so far you're probably already getting close lol. Amazing how good of people Okies are. If i had 2 pennies to rub together right now i would donate too, but the wife is in full time nursing school at the moment and we have been living on savings and no income since last June and still have 5 months to go. You guys are the best!!!!!
