Chiller fix

Does anyone knows who can fix a chiller that shorts the power?
I am located in south Florida.

If it's shorting and tripping the breaker, You may have a bad compressor. Most refrigeration companies should be able to fix it.

I agree, it's most likely the compressor that is shorted.
Any HVAC guy worth his salt can change the compressor. Just make sure he also replaces the dryer and the starter cap while he's working on it. Also make sure he properly vacuums the air out of the lines before filling it with new gas.

I do hvac, compressor is almost surely grounding out and junk. Buy a new one. Small appliances like window ac's and refrigerators and your chiller are not worth fixing anymore. Unfortunately we are a throwaway society now.
