cal 430
mag 1400
alk 9.2
phosphate 0-1
nitrate 0
nitrite 0
sg 1.025
temp 78
can anyone see what im doing wrong are they to close to the water?
So what's the difference in the "A" series(a4-6-8) as opposed to the normal dimmable. It it just cosmetics?

Well I found out that my order has yet to ship, now its supposed to be shipped Monday. I've been dealing with Hendy Yang, better told me that the uv's did not look good in the fixture, but the 48blues/24 whites looked "Beautiful." So I went that route. I was also contemplating the 120° but he insisted the 90° with optics. They say it's 7 business days for shipping, getting a little impatient though. Here's some pics of my actual fixtures they took last night for me, they said they were testing it to make sure everything was working correctly.
I get what you mean troptrea but whether or not this unit makes me happy or fails me in 6 months has nothing to do with you. Your not the seller you helped me with what I needed for no reason but just to help and I really appreciate that and do thank you.
I don't plan on giving up if this 177 dollar light doesn't work hhaha if that was the case I would have given up about 500 dollars worth of dead fish and corals ago haha I'm in too deep to give up now but I get what your saying and I your still owed a thank you!
Better, newer design. Quieter fans, less heat, modular.
Well this is the first i have heard of this. where did you get your info? as for design the pic of the a6 from the top is the same case as the regular dimmable, the fans on the regular dimmable are very quiet at least on mine they are, Less Heat? a led is a led is a led the heat should be the same as they are useing the same led's but they may have a heatsink which the regular dimmable doesn't, my regular dimmable the only place you can feel heat is on the light side and that is just slightly warmer than room temprature the rest of the fixture is cool to the touch. The only differance i see is from the light side is that it has a floodlight design and the regular dimmable has a grid design. and im not real big on the spotlight/floodlight look myself. and the design is a copy, simular to the ecotech radion which has been out for a while. I do like the daisy chain feature of the nova's for larger tanks with multple lights. The electricians out there should do a DIY for a controller when they see what dimmable drivers these have. I would think the same could be done with the $165 units as they have dimmable drivers too
I agree with this. Troptrea, your time and advise are truly appreciated here. Like I told you before, I respect the way that you state the facts and your opinions without getting defensive every time someone disagrees. So often on these internet forums people think that everyone has to do things their way or it is wrong. Also they seem a bit condescending to newbies. You are the kind of poster that really adds value here.
Thanks again.
Mike.
