"Yes, our dimmable 120W led aquarium light with inside timer and dimmer is similar to the light which you showed me. The only difference is that there is no remote controller for it. There is an LCD on the surface of the light. There are six keys for the LCD controller. You can program it not only in half hour and one hour but also in minutes.

The ratio can be made similar as your requirement. First channel: 27 450nm royal blue, Second channel: 13 7500k cool whites, 2 480nm blues, 2 520nm greens, 2 630nm red, 2 660nm reds, and 4 410-420nm violets. Third channels: 3 480nm blue moonlights. The total quantity of led chips is 55 pieces which including the 3 moonlights."

Twilight led any ideas! About $50.00 cheeper than reefbreeders, minus the remote's! @Bhazard451 What are your thought's? The only thing they recommend 6 LED for the 7 ft tank. A bit much? Was looking into max 3-4? (@Travis1787)

6 LEDs are way too much. 3-4 is fine.

The Evergrow light is much brighter than the twilight one. Twilight also refused to fix a problem I had with my light.

Go with reef breeders, as you will get a better light and an actual warranty

@ monkeytank Yes Tracy is the sales rep. She quoted me $225.00 per unit including shipping and use of diff spec leds. (green,red). good price but the warranty scarry!

Before i found this post i was talking to AL Sol they were advising me to do 7. Evergrow did say 3-4. Twlight (7) That's what send me searching for other options!

Also Busybee led have good setup and decent prices. Worth checking out. But still can't compare in value/perks with reef breeders!

I forgot to ask, how wide is your tank? If it is a lot wider than 24", then you will need to run the lights front to back instead of length wise, which means you would then need to use 6 or 7 lights.

The Evergrow controller light can also link power cords. You can plug two units into each other, and only need to run 1 power cord to the outlet. Will save a ton of outlet space.. as these types of lights usually need 2 plugs each.

@ bhazard 24 inch wide / 24 inch deep /84 in long. Was thinking of hanging lenght wise. Contacted reef breeders they will give me a 5% discount so i am under 1200 for 4 peices. Need to get paid tomorrow lol.... to get them.....

I have three tanks, each 72 inches long. The deepest is 30 inches and I was hoping to find an affordable lighting solution to use on all three. One is a predator tank without corals so the lighting on it isn't as important, but I thought keeping everything the same would be easier. The way I see it the Twilight ones are about $80 cheaper per light. That adds up to a lot of money compared to Reefbreeders. The remote would be nice, but I can live without it. I'm looking for the ability to have a bright white that isn't too blue at times for photos, but want as much of the spectrum as I can get to keep everything going and have the cool actinic look at night to make the flourescence really pop.

Recommendations?

The white leds on the Twilight lights are incredibly dim. The Evergrow leds in general are stronger, higher quality leds. The Twilight leds also cannot be changed out with other leds like the Evergrow ones can.

There is a model called the d120 that goes for $160-180 that manually dims. If you don't care about automatic dimming or moonlights, that is the best way to go price wise.

Thanks for the feedback. I am contacting Sunny to ask about pricing for 7 of the IT2040 for comparison. I don't see it even listed on their site. I hope that doesn't mean shipping isn't going to happen for a long time.

bhazard, im finally gonna be able to get some led units for my tank. i have a 90 T Rectangular (48x18x24) and i wanted to ask you what you felt would be the best unit to go with? afew months back i was thinking of getting 2 nova a6's. do you think that is still the best option? i dont want them to have there own controller since i have an apex. im not worried about it being apex compatible to be honest. thanks for your time.

Overall I like the newest controller light the most. The d120 is still the best bang for the buck though.

Im looking at getting a 120watt Controllable LED Fixtures from ReefBreeders. But I have a question to ask about it. What lens do you think I should go with for a 40 breeder tank? And I plan on setting up a 180 gallon tank in the next year or sooner. And if this light works out for me then I would like to use them on the 180. So would the lens for the 40 breeder be the same as the 180? If not how hard are they to change to a different one? Im new to the LED thing and going to be making the change over from T5's.

I am getting ready to order an IT2040, and below is the color layout they recomended for SPS coral. It doesnt look right to me any comments

I am chatting with Evergrow right now and she is telling me that the new IT120's with the updated boards only have 51 LEDs. Standard layout includes 24 blue, 24 white and 3 moonlights. She also stated they were not ready to order and would let me know when they are.

Has anyone else confirmed?

Any idea where this is going to come out more blue or more white? My preference is more to white then blue.
