Went to get a drink and when I walked past the tank I saw it hosting one of my clowns!! For months it refused to go new my RBTA, I didn't think it would happen this quick.
I've noticed some flat worms on my glass. So to prevent a "plague" I felt like I had a few options. I could let them be and hope they go away on their own. I could also try flatworm exit since I see a lot if good reviews for it. But the problem with that is I have a carpet anemone and a RBTA and I fear that they are too sensitive for that treatment. SO I had no other choice but to pick up another wrasse (oh darn).
I picked up this yellow coris wrasse a few days ago and it dove right into the sand and finally decided to come out today! Not the best picture but it's moving around A LOT right now.
We'll I started reading all these threads about tanks crashing due to heaters failing. Of course this caused me to panic in the inside, so I bought a ranco temp controller. Seems to be working just fine... This will do for now until I get the funds to purchase an apex or something similar.
The pump came in today! It was easy to take apart and program. I haven't tested to see if it gives an accurate dose or not, but I can post the results later tonight or maybe tomorrow. The pumps do make noise but I do not find it to be horribly loud at all and I don't think I will notice it since it will be inside my stand. Here are some pictures. If you want more information let me know.
