Christygirl's new Leemar 180 build!

How's the hawkins doing? I ramped my LEDs to full power and its looking great now! I gotta drop by to check your tank out.

Randy, lets see some coral pictures. Nice meeting you and Christy.

Mike, Thanks, it was nice meeting you as well. The red Dragon is doing well and the other coral is as well.... I think it was called grape juice.... Can't remember!

Just wanted to drop in and say hi. This is Sang, the guy in front of you in the line at the MAX show.

Sang, It was nice to meet you that day as well. Hope all is well!

Any new pics?

Mike,

I have been so lax at this.... I have taken many pictures, but, none that I feel are good enough to post.... My tank gets a reflection from the outside when the lights are best to shoot. Since I have the ATI, I really never mess with my lighting. I will bring home the computer to put it into the mid day lighting at night so that I don't get the reflections.

Ev'e The Hawkeye is beautiful.... I need to come check out your tank now. You should come over and see mine. It really is looking nice.

To all, I will post pics.... I am about to get a IP Cam and will probably set up a guest ID for my apex for viewing of the CAM.

Nice tank Randy.
A quick question.
What if you need to access the back of the tank. A leak or something.
Are you able to do that?

Also, what are you using for the return pump?
Thank you.

Guys. I will post some pics this week. Tank is doing pretty well. Fish are doing great. Fought a nasty battle with bryopsis. Used tech m. Looks like it is working. Finally got the tank stand wrapped. It looks really nice.

Pics to come soon.

Thanks for your interest!

Randy

OK, so I have been real bad at updating this thread.

The tank is starting to look nice. Here is a quick picture for reference....

I have slowly been adding equipment.

Added a Knopp Calcium Reactor. Like it, but, last week developed a slow leak. So I took that apart and fixed it.

This week, I am adding a Avast Marine Calc Stirrer and an Avast Marine Spyglass Fluidized reactor. I wanted to add this, so that I could get rid of my BRS dual chamber reactor.

The Avast Marine allows you to have both GFO and Carbon in the same reactor..... I gues the flow is slow enough to avoid crumbling the carbon and give a gentle tumble of both GFO and Carbon simultaneously.

I am looking forward to it because it also seems to be easy to change out the carbon and GFO as well.

Short update. I apologize for not adding too many pictures....

I have had the same fish in my tank now for almost 2 years:
1 Bluestripe Pipefish
2 Chalk Basslets
2 Bangai Cardinals
1 Coral Beauty
1 Flame Angel
5 Anthias
1 Blue tang
1 Des Jardin tang
1 leopard Wrasse
1 Corris Wrasse

Hope all is well out there...

Does anyone have any input on the (2) Avast Marine products?

Thanks Ev'e and Rick.

Ev'e I started to get it dialed in when it sprung a slow leak.... During that time, I checked my probes against each other and my pH2 probe (the CA reactor's controller) seems to be off....

I think I am going to purchase a new one.

I will be hooking it back up tonight and hopefully test Ca and Alk as well... adjust it back to base and then let her go....

I would like to use the kalk reactor much like you do...

Randy, it was great to finally meet you. I went though your tank build but you need more pictures!!! I know you are waiting for the canopy to be finished, but I want to see that sump and under cabinet build out, it sounds awesome. Anyway thanks for dropping by ans I hope to get a chance to see your tank in person soon.
-Mike
