chromis are ****s !!!

in the wild the school for protection , this is why you see that almost everyone who has success with them including myself have a predator that keeps them on the defensive.... your chromis drama is not over i assure you..

I think I will be down to one chromis before to long...I may give the little ones away...not sure how much more of a beat down they can take. They are no longer bothering the firefish...even the big dude, so I guess thats some good news.

I think I will post what to get before purchasing. Just was reading general guidelines when researching.

I had a pair of chromis I cycled my old tank with. They layed eggs all the time. I started with 3 and they killed the 3rd in a few days. I also had a blue eye kole tang, maroon clown, melenarus wrasse, and a fox face in my 65g. The other fish kept them in check. You may got get lucky and the last 2 pair

As in virdis? Not known to be aggressive to other species. They also require being fed 5-7 tines daily if you want them to shoal and be peaceful.... otherwise they dwindle down to 1 or 2.
