Chromis mouth cannot close!

Hi

My green chromis just cant keep the mouth closed. Anyone experienced this before?

In other threads people say this is a courtship issue. An Aggressor in the tank. Do you have other Chromis? And if so, see any fighting?

How long has it been like this? I have a royal gramma that this happened to but it corrected itself after a few days.

Hi

I have one other chromis and he is fine. The jaw is normal

It has been more than 48 hours and this affected chromis is not back to normal..what should i do?

You can see if it resolves itself or catch the fish and manually manipulate his mouth to put it back. The later is risky but if it doesn't get resolved he will die of starvation.
