Cipro for crispa's?

Has cipro been show. To be effective on crispa's? I have one coming next week and I'm trying to decide if I should order some or not.

I used it twice on crispas and in both cases it didn't save the anemone.
But in both cases I started treatment rather late which may have been the primary cause for the failures.

Based on these experiences I would not treat prophylactically, but start as soon as it is cleat that the anemone is sick. The latter is the tricky part as malu and crispa are rather cryptic in their symptoms. If a gigantea is sick is much easier to diagnose.
