Clam Help Please

One of my clams seemed not to be opening up quite as far as it usually has so I mived him up closer under my 400W MH. Well sometime dureing the day he fell off the rockwork and now the joint between the two shells is broken on one side. Is there anything I can do? Will this heal itself? I feel bad because i caused this to happen.

Could have broken or damaged his hinge. Moving him closer to the light will not help IMO.

Time will tell.

Yes his hinge is damaged. It is split on one side I moved him closer to the light yesterday because he was not opening up fully like he was previously doing. After i moved him is when he fell.
