SO I have had a tank set up in the hopes of eventually picking up some clams again and an Anenome or 2. Yesterday someone posted in my local forums about getting rid of a few things including a clam which turned out to be about 9 inches long. The Clam was thriving in a tank loaded w/ some hair algae, and the lights were well overdue for a change. The clam is allready opened and seems to be well adjusted all things considered.
My tank has 250 halides over it , and will be putting new bulbs on later today.. Any suggestions as to whether 10k or 20 k would be best for this particular clam? and if that even matters? ...
Now I have read a few threads and followed the links provided in this forum and I think what I have is a Squamosa . I guess I would just like a more educated 2nd 3rd and 4th opinion from all you fine folks..... Thanks for the look, and any info is much appreciated...
