Clams on sand (need advice)

hi all, just wanna ask this question.~

is it possible if I were to put them on the sand as i have created a clam lagoon just to suit my clams......

I wish to put my maximas and croceas on the sand though.

but I am afraid of undesirable things that's gonna happen if there's any:confused:

You could get some flat rocks or shells and put the clams on those then put them on the sand, if your worried about something harming the clam.
I have a Deresa that I keep directly on the sand but I know Max and Corcera do like to attach to something.

I wanted mine on the sand also but did not want to see any rocks or shells in my clam lagoon, so I placed small flat pices of rock and an inverted shell just under the sand and place the clams on top.

Now they are happy and attached to the rocks under the sand where I do not have to see it.

Happy Clamming ;)

You can also use a small piece of acrylic, oe plexi. Just bury a lil bit under sand and put clam on top. It will attach, and be as happy as a ............................. pig in sh.t. LOL

I have some on old shells and a few on the sand itself.

My sandbed in not to deep and the croceas seem to like digging in so I let them.
