i kept a few squamosas for awhile under pc and they seemed to do fine. i even had a maxima for awile and to me he looked ok. then i got metal halides and found that i was wrong. my clams colored up and opened more than ever. if you are going to keep a clam under pc i would definitaly stick with a squamosa or a derasa or even maybe a hippopus even though they are not quite as colorful. you would be taking a risk with a maxima or crocea in my opinion.
