Cleaner Shrimp Mauling Anemones...

In 7 days time the 2 cleaner shrimp in my tank have killed one Large Lta..And are now killing my new carpet Anem..They literaly pry the mouth open and pick them to Death from the inside out..Anyone else had this problem.??

Yes.

I had a red stripe cleaner with my bta, and watched it do some things... I kept it very well fed....

I watched it a few times dig food out 8-10 hours after feeding :-(

I decided to try and kill it, and happily figured out that I could catch it while chasing it with a chop stick.

It is now in an 8 gallon oceanic biocube (alive and happy).

Get those little mosters out!

Just give each shrimp its own little chunk of prawn, and theyll nibble on it for hours on end. Enough so that the anemone can start to ingest it. I think your shrimp are really persistent, once mine gets in the tentacles, it doesn't like it.

Mine doesn't mess with my carpet. He does however pester my star polyps pretty bad. Its funny when he walks across them it looks like he's mowing grass. I'd remove the shrimp maybe try another one.

Thanks for the advice..I was able to get one of them out with the net last night...Guess ill have to trap the other one...
