How can you tell that a cleaner wrasse is African?
Heard its diffcult to keep clams if you have cleaner wrasse...
Here is what I can remember they attacked to the death:
1. Garden Eel - I could not believe the level of aggressiveness they had toward this animal. They were obviously much smaller, but they would make runs at the eels head area and "dive bomb" it until the darn thing was dead.
2. Neon Gobies: Same situation, but not as radical as the eel experience, but killed about 3 of these little guys in the matter of 3-4 hours. Very sad...
3. I had a few other things they went after, can't exactly remember, but think it was either a orange spotted blenny or some other goby.
a model citizen..will clean if asked, but otherwise leaves my fish alone (which is 90% of the time).
Mine too. I have what I believe is a pair, due to the way they act and one has much different coloring especially when they spar off. Mine are from the Phillipines and will eat anything and just keep getting fatter.

I have a derasa and it hasn't been an issue.
