I posted a thread on the AC forums about what to use to clean the probes on my P II Plus. Martin responded with the following:
For cleaning probes you need 2 things:
1.hydrochloric acid + pepsin solution (cleaner for probes, some good sortet dealer will have it)
2. 3-molare KCl-solution (good for regerneration and storage when not used)
put your probes 24h in solution one, rinse with water and put it 24h in solution two rinse again.
Than the probes should look like new.
The problem is although I have been able to find Potassium Chloride, and can't find the HCL+pepsin anywhere. Can anyone help out? Is there something I could use instead without damaging the probes (such as Vinegar or Deltec EzeClean)?
