I stumbled across this cool website that makes customized clear glass shell for hermit crabs. It s so cool that i had to share it. Check it out!

That is so cool. Too bad its for giant hermits, LOL! Still, a really interesting concept. Makes me want to put a huge hermit in my tank just so I can use the glass! Thanks for sharing!

They make those at the Hollywood young circle... there's a glass blowing workshop there, they do demonstrations. They were featured on Living Color's show, Tanked.

I've been thinking of things to 3d print for my new nano, and hermit shells was one of the items I considered. More trouble than it's worth though. Kinda cool that you can get blown glass shells, but talk about more trouble than it's worth

Yeah, but you could 3d print just about anything... as long as the interior is right for the crab. I have a pretty dirty mind... lol Limitless!

On the website they say you can ask for the size your want. I don't know how small the artists can go. If they could make them for the smaller hermit crabs, that would be cool.

Tanked is not Living Color's show it is ATM ....Living Color has a show Fish Tank Kings....just sayin

I think they had some of these at MACNA....pretty cool either way.

Sweet I've got tons of hermit crabs throughout all my tanks as cleaner crews I've definetely got a couple big enough for that I think I'm gonna order a couple and try it out. Thanks for the info!
