Yeah, and what color is it really? ;)

If your talking about my picture that is how they look under my T5 lights. I had to take it in raw mode and adjust it to get it to look the same, everything else came out too blue. They are purple with yellow/green skirts-or whatever they are called.

Ahhhh, i see what you mean now. On my laptop the pictures look perfect but from my desktop they look more blue than purple...alot more blue. I will have to post a corrected picture and look into why my color settings are wacky on my laptop.

I think they are stunning, and they look very purple to me. Are those Purple People Eaters? Do they have green mouths?

thebimbo - Thanks for the compliment. I use Nikon Coolpix 4500 for the macro.

Great, there's some hope for me yet :) !!! I have the 7600, but I really have nothing much in the tank, coral wise that is, to photograph in detail like that... Although there are coral frags in the mail as I type :D ... I can't wait to get some great shots such as this one...

Cool close ups everybody. :)

I'll add a couple, first my Z.scopas...

Nice! :D Aren't they great characters though? Mine likes to sleep under my T.squamosa clam... and when tang comes calling sometimes it looks like it catches that wrasse by surprize...
