What kind of coral is this green coral above? I have similar looking coral on my live rock, but very small and brown. Does this coral look like your green one above? I like to find out what this brown coral is. My tank is just a FOWLR tank and I added the live rock that this coral is attached about 6 months ago and it grew a little bit. When Polyps extend it looks real similar to the green one above, but when they are retracted the skeleton looks like bee hives.:confused:

DEQbob - it is a Devil's Hand leather.

hskim - it is an Acropora nobilis, as far as I know. When I bought it, it looked brown with purple tips. I put it in my reef under my lighting, and it immediately looked green with blue tips. Huge difference, and I'm really glad I got it.
 
Thanks melev, I'm goning to look up Acropora nobilis to see if I'm correct. All this time I thought it might be LPS(goniopora or something similar).

Interesting. It's hard to say at this point. If it was an LPS like Alveopora, each polyp will have 12 petals, and a goniopora will have 24 petals.

Although, they do like a flower sometimes... :p
