What are the best designer clowns for hosting an inferno nem? I don't know much about clowns or nems other than I've had some host and some not, in my experience I've had the best luck with Tomatos's and Maroon's in terms of hosting BTA's...but since its such a cool nem, I'd really like to get some cool clowns to go with it, but I'd hate to get nice clowns that end up wanting nothing to do with it, man that's a serious ramble.....any suggestions? thanks

You could always try the float the clown and nem in a basket trick.

If it's an option, temporarily put the clowns and nem in a small tank for the "introduction." Once the clowns realize that the nem is an amazing host, they probably won't stray too far from it. I've had Occelaris and Clarkiis hanging out in BTAs.

I have quite a few successes by gently release the new clowns next to the anemones at night with moon lights on. The clowns naturally will find refuge in the anemones and make it their home...

I have a pair of beautiful Snowflake Clowns, they do not host the Nem or any coral, they host the Sea Swirl? Why I have no idea? Good Luck!

Its actually a pretty small tank they are going into so hopefully this theory works!

I've tried that but they tend to bolt in the opposite direction, but I'll give it another shot

Ha! Now this sounds like my luck with them, the ole "swim in the corner until its time to eat"

Wild caught percula will dove in the anemone right away
If you have a designer clowns its easier to have clown hosting an anemone for them to see but they need separate anemone far from each other. The container trick works too.

Buy a pasta strainer, put the nem and the clowns in it, they will host in no time. I've done this multiple times with many different clowns
