anyone keeping a clown fish with seahorses ?

so I saw this blue and orange clown ! really small, never seen it before, would it be safe with the seahorses ? besides stilling food from them ?

There are few success stories with keeping clowns with seahorses.
Most clownfish at the LEAST will stress the seahorses to the point they stop eating, even if they manage to get some food the clown doesn't.
Also, some clowns are very aggressive.

hmmm thanks Ray :)

ure right the weird clowns are a bit more aggressive :S

hmm perhaps time to set up a frag tank to house this guy lol

IME they seem to do fine at first but when the clown fish establishes it's territory they aggressively defend it. It is not something I will try doing again.

i know its not the same thing, but i have 2 dragon faced pipefish in my dt, which is also home to two tomato clowns. they've been together for at least a month and i've had no trouble.

i dont know much about sea horses but i will say if its A clownfish some success is probably due to there only being one. A pair of clowns is a whole different animal than a clown.
