the haddon will out grow a 29g very quickly and i believe gary has pics of his haddoni eating a BTA. id stick to one type of anemone your tank isnt big enough for two different species to live together.

and your not mentioning your filtration so id say go with only a pair of small clowns(juvies usually are tolerated by the pair but in a small tank will get pretty beat up especially with a anemone present).

and for lighting for a BTA PC would be fine.

but you should research alot more!!

Xavier a S.Hadonni can get up to ~24 inches. Plus they will/can eat many fish that normaly dont host them since some clowns decide to jump right in them and not acclimate to the carpet.

Its best to just stick with BTA, and if you want go with another species, but I really dont recommend any carpets for your 29g mixed.

I would not mix anemone species together. There will be war unless there is plenty of room and they will never come in contact with each other. For a 29 g, one anemoe species is more than enough.
Anemone grow when you feed them. If the anemone is healthy and under good tank condition, the more you feed the faster they grow. You can get a 5 inches carpet to 20 inches over 1 year if you feed them alot and change water and keep condition in great order. Same thing with BTA, except they would divide also.
For anemone and clown fish tank, I would use a more of a cube tank rather than a long tank. Keep feeding down and they will not grow too fast. I am keeping a Green carpet in a 24 g Aquapod and will expet it to be ther for a long time. I may move him into a 60 g cube (24X24X24) in a year or two.
If you keep carpet, arrange rock in a horseshoe shape and keep it in the sand in the middle. For BTA, rock in the middle and BTA on the rock. Carpet more light less with BTA. Both requires moderate flow. No care different between Green and Red BTA (or any other color)
Saddle back and Carkii are more common fish in Carpet while Maroon clown will go into BTA.

thanks guys ok so i will stick to the BTA's only and then what ind of filtration would be best i have a refugium that takes up the whole bak of the tank is this good enough???? how many clowns could i get with this filtration and bi weekly 10 gallon water changes???

Skimmer, LR, LS, regular water changes, and a good clean up crew

Clowns:

1 pair

Refugium:

hang on back, that size should work

It's the best way, anemones require prestine water. You won't regret it when you see how much garbage comes out. Have you ever had anemones before and if so what kind?

ive had 2 btas a green and a red and a lta but i dont know what kind and i had aptasia too at one point man are they hard to take care of i really regreted not having a skimmer then

actualy i dont it was a while ago not in this tank i used to have a 20 gallon with some pc's and 2 aquaclears but im not allowed to drill the tank either! im 14 so im at complete mercy to my moms decision

That looks like a new tank, how long has it been up? Is that your only tank? Is that the 29 gallon? What are you using for water movement?

at the time of this picture it was pretty new its been up for about 4 months now but it seems like forever!!!! the corals are all growing and doing great!!!! i only have the clown and i bicolor blenny now. the seio 820 is now mounted differently and i got rid of a little bit(like 10 pounds ) of sand also i have a really ghetto fuge!!!
