Look at all of the little eyeballs.

What is the maturation time before clown eggs hatch?

Reference #1 says 4-5 days :rolleye1:
reference #2 says 7-8 days
reference #3 says 6-10 days
reference # 4 says 6-15 days

etc.

hopefully they are successful.
What are you going to do with the hatchlings?

First, if they hatch: I will attempt to keep them alive.

I may have acted too late, but I ordered a rotifer culture & green water culture tonight (overnight shipping). They aren't hatching tonight. If I am lucky, they won't hatch until I have food for them.

Does anyone local have a rotifer culture - just in case these eggs hatch before I receive mine?

Are you setting up another tank for the hatch?
"Another tank" is already set up. I have several more to choose from as well.

Update:

The reference that seemed most reliable about raising clownfish states that the eggs hatch 1-2 hours after lights out. The fry (larvae) are planktonic, so the recommendation is to remove the eggs or newly hatched young. Also suggested is to turn off the return pump/overflow system so the fry don't go over the edge. Well, I stayed up until midnight last night to ensure that last night wasn't hatch night. Checked again before work, and eggs looked the same. However, when I got home from work this evening, most of the eggs were gone. :(

I removed the rock with the remaining eggs to the "other tank." I have no idea whether they will hatch or not.

i know that sometimes clown pairs will eat their first few clutches... they'll probably continue to spawn now that they gave you one round. good luck with the remaining eggs! :)
