I am combining my 3 tanks into one big tank a 58g-65g-40g all into a 180g. Well in one tank we have a pair of tomato clowns with a BTA and in another tank we have a pair of Clarki clowns a carpet RBTA and a GBTA . Since this is going to be a fairly big tank can we keep all of the clowns in there? I know the anems will be ok but will the clowns eventually get along I was going to put their enems on opposite ends of the tank but this dont mean anything I know.

The anemones may not be okay...depends on the individual anemones. What kind of carpet do you have?

As far as the clowns living together peacefully...probably not. Both species you have are quite intolerant of other clowns. Might work out okay for a while, but you'll probably have serious aggression and some dead clowns.

I know this doesn't happen very often, but I kept 2 mated pairs in a 120. I introduced all 4 clowns, 2 x clarkii and 2 x tomato. As they matured they paired up. They were all ORA juveniles when I bought them and put them in the tank. The clarkii hosted in a colt coral and the tomatos hosted in my xenia and both were on the same side of the tank. The pairs were tolerant of each other but did "threaten" each other on occasion but really kept to their territories within the aquarium, except at feeding time when they would draw a truce. I kept them like that for about 1 1/2 years before having to break the tank down. So, it can be done............but.........
