So About a month ago my nem was doing pretty bad (http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2064760)

In the thread I asked for suggestions and someone said to feed him frequently. I gave him a couple pellets of food everyday since. He made a nice recovery to the point of him rarely deflating.

The other day he split!

I have a pair of percs that I've been trying to get to swim in the nem for about 5 months now. They've never shown interest. NONE ZIP ZILCH

Well figures now my nem is split and recovering, the female decides the dive right in.:blown:

Is it ok for the nem to host the clownfish as its recovering from its split?

Also, How long does it usually take to recover from a split?

If I have to throw the clownfish in the sump for a couple days so be it lol

Thats why I was concerned. The nem use to be rathe large. maybe 6 inches in diameter. Cut that in half and you have 2 smaller sized nems.

He doesn't seem to be too rough with it and he doesn't swim in it all the time. It is also staying inflated most of the time.

Both halves seem to be staying out of direct light currently though.
