Clownfish intervention not successful

So I have two ocellaris clowns that refuse to go into any of my anemones.
So I build this mesh container to sit inside my tank over my anemone. I caught my two clownfish at night when they were sleeping and put them in the container. They spent 10 days in the container with a Haddoni and a Gigantea carpet anemone and around day 5 started going into the anemone. They played in the anemone from then on and I was very sure that this trick had worked so on day 10 I removed the container and they left the area and have not returned to an anemone. I also have 3 bubble tips that they ignore.

I'm not sure what else to do other than take them back and get maroons or clarkiis since they are more of a sure bet.

It just takes time. My clowns had access to an anemone for almost 7 months until they even showed a sign of being interested in hosting it.

If they are captive bred then that could be why. Ive heard and read that wild ones are around a nem as babies so they know the scent and are pre programmed because of the parents. Where as many of the tank raised have never been around a nem and the parents don't have a nem either usually just a flower pot.
My first pair of clownfish were CB and never looked twice at my nem. I bought a pair of wild ones later on after the first 2 jumped out of the tank and the wild ones took to the nem in a matter of minutes.
Just a possibility

This is parroted misinformation, TB or WC does not matter, matching your clown species to a natural host nem is what really matters, the fish seem to know more than most of us do on this matter!

I'm not an advocate on forced close proximity, this can be harmful to the clowns

One of them is 3 years old and the other is over a year. They have always been around anemones but haven't ever went in them

Yea my LFS gets lightning maroons in for only $70 each. Feel like I might just get two and replace the ocellaris

I fed my clowns with tweasers in the anemone till they got to rubbing around on the tentacles then eventually they wouldn't hardly leave it. Then I lost a clown that jumped out, now the other one won't even hardly leave to eat, I'd rather just have them swimming around at this point.

This ...

At least nobody proposed taping a picture of a hotel clown to the tank.
