Clownfish Poop

I've read a million times that WHITE stringy poop could mean internal parasites. I've also read that a healthy clownfish feces is more like sand than a long strand. So when you see a brown strand coming from a clownfish, is that normal or the sign of some disease.

White stringy poo does not necessarily indicate intestinal parasites. It could also be just an inflammation due to bacteria or feeding too much of certain foods (brine shrimp).

Furthermore, clownfish will eat hairy green algae if they can get them and then their poo can be somewhat stringy as well.
