I have a pair of gold stripe maroon clowns, they have been together roughly 8 months. They are in my 120. I also have a large, 8" long, clam, and a 14" blue haddoni. I know haddonis are not the natural host for the maroon clowns but after reading about maroons hosting just about any anemone thought it was worth a try.
However after a month the clowns have moved from living in a cave to sleeping on my clam at night. They dont beat it up and the clam is still opening just fine. The clam doesnt even close up when the clowns 'lay' on it. Do I need to try to deter the clowns from the clam to prevent an issue or should I leave them until its an issue?
