Clowns getting sick? Help

My pair of onyx clowns were doing fine today when I decided to feed them. I always feed them Rod's food but this time I decided to soak it in Zoe, vitachem and garlic extract, since I haven't been using the additives since I've been feeding Rod's food (they've been on Rods food since June). Well I just checked on them before the lights went out and there is something definetly wrong. Their white stripes look somewhat peeled and looks like they have brown stains on them. I haven't used the additives since June and I'm thinking that's the only thing that could do this.

I have a penguin 200B and a nano aqua c remora for filtration.

They also just started hosting in a frogspawn frag.

I'm going to be getting home late tomorrow but hopefully I'll have time for a water change.

Can ya post a pic?? Personally, I used to use Zoe and since I've been feeding Rod's food, I don't feel that there's a need to use it. I have also used Zoe with food for my 2 ocellaris and never experienced the "peeling" that you are seeing. I'd wait to see how they look in the morning before becoming too worried.

They look a lot better just slight peeling on the head stripe other stripes seem fine now,but they are active. I would post a pic but my brother has yet to return my camera. They are swimming around and eating.

Definitely no reason to soak Rod's food in anything. I know he soaks in and garlic and maybe a couple other things. I'd email Rod about the clowns, but he'll probably respond in the morning. That's when he usually is online.

They are back to normal today.

@BenjieC, I know Rod adds all the additives but I kind of thought of using them since they have'nt been in use for a few months. Maybe they went bad?
