CO2 Refill???

Kind of frustrated here. I'm trying to fill my CO2 container for my new Calcium reactor. Praxair and PGWalker in town stopped refilling CO2 containers. Well, PGWalker said they would "trade me out". Boy that's a good deal, my new 10 lb. Catalina CO2 tank for their rusted, dented keg tank! I'm going to try Will Fischer but what has everyone else done? Kind of stupid that I can go anywhere and buy gasoline (which is much more dangerous than CO2) but not CO2. Thanks for any help!

Yeah they try to pull that crap all the time. You just tell them that you will trade it out if they can provide you one in the same condition...they will then usually let you get yours filled. You can also try to talk to the manager there to see if they will be reasonable about them taking your new tank for a crapy one of theirs. If not I don't know what other options are available.

I finally found a place that would fill the tank! Ozark Fire Extinguisher on Division St here in Springfield. They said that they are the only ones that they know of that will fill and test individuals CO2 tanks. I spent 3 days calling different places trying to get this done. Hopefully it will save someone some running time.
