Hey everyone,
My Moonlights crapped out! So I'm looking for new ones. Ted I know you have the cathodes, did you ever hook them up? Anyone else have them? - like them - hate them etc........

adnup , I gave the ones I had to Diane . I like the Cold Cathode light tubes . That 's what I'm going to use , when my tank is up , and running again . Ted

Thanks for putting that up. I don't have anything in this new tank for night, and that looks pretty cool.

I use ccfl as the main lighting source on my pico tank. It's not being reflected and it still is the brightest light in my room.

Sorry Ted, yes I ordered them.

WOW these things are BRIGHT!!

I wired them with an adjustable transformer so I can lower the power which I think I'll have to do.

This pic is taken with full sunlight in my kitchen...

I'll post pics with them installed after I slap together some mounting brackets

How did the adjustable transformer work out ?

Its great, I'm glad I had an adjustable transformer because they are way too bright at 12v. I am running them on 4.5v now and its still alittle bright in my 90gal. I have posted any pics becasue my camera wont pick up the light at all..
