Coloration change

I have a Tank Bred, I believe Kuda, that when I bought him he was a dark brown/black. Throughout the day his coloration will change. I thought it had to do with lighting; ie- lighter when lights on darker when dark. It is random coloration. He seems healthy and is eating well. He is fed nutrient infused brine and mysis shrimp in random succession. Should I be concerned.

In a word, no.

Seahorses often change color when they are courting and or to blend in with their surroundings. Or maybe just when the mood strikes them.

I would feed your seahorse with PE mysis as a basic diet with brine shrimp as an occasional treat.
